Bob Covey has been in the business of moving homes, buildings, and oversized structures for over 25 years.  Bob Covey is a second generation house mover and comes from an extended family of  house movers.  His dad and uncle were both house movers, several cousins are in the business of moving houses, and a younger brother is also in the business of moving houses.

Bob Covey started his own house moving business in 1982 in Fort Scott Kansas working a radius of approximately100 miles around Fort Scott. 

In 1989, we moved our house moving business to Fayetteville Arkansas and continued to grow both in size and reputation as a house mover.

In 1999, we moved our business and family to Eastern North Carolina.  This was supposed to be a temporary move; however, Eastern North Carolina grew on us and we decided to make our permanent home in North Carolina.  The first 5 years in North Carolina were spent elevating homes which had been flooded during hurricanes. 

We aggressively promote recycling through the relocation of homes and we utilize the most up to date equipment available in our business.
